Instant Pot Hard-Boiled Eggs

by | May 27, 2017

Wanna make the easiest hardboiled eggs ever – the kind where you don’t even have to pre-boil water and where the shell just peels off with no pockmarks or nicks in your egg? Well, look no further! This was a BREEZE. At last, boiling eggs is a joy! And the best part? IT DOESN’T SMELL! NO eggy, sulphur like odors at all!
  • Eggs (however many you want to fill the pot)

Use these eggs as a base for egg salad, chopped liver, a delicious Cobb salad or on their own!

  1. Lay down the little raised wire rack that came with the Instant Pot in the pot
  2. Add 1 cup of water to the Instant Pot
  3. Lay the eggs on top of the rack
  4. Hit “Manual” or “Pressure Cook” High Pressure for 5 minutes
  5. Natural release for 5 minutes, then quick release the rest
  6. Put the eggs in a cold water bath for about 90 seconds (change the water midway through because it will warm up fast)
  7. Peel and prepare as you wish
  8. Enjoy!
